AiEO Visibility Challenge

The AiEO Visibility Challenge, co-hosted by AiEO and TECHNATION, invites post-secondary students from across Canada to examine how generative AI systems represent Canadian organizations, programs and communities. As AI tools increasingly shape how people access information, jobs and services, this challenge explores what those systems get right, what they overlook and where misinformation appears. 

Teams of students will investigate how widely used generative AI tools present information. By testing real-world questions across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, participants will uncover patterns and come up with solutions to improve accuracy. The challenge emphasizes critical analysis, responsible AI use and digital equity, while building practical AI literacy and research skills.
